Would you like to be part of the Women’s Service?

We are looking for applications from volunteers to help with the activities and services we provide to women across the city.

The women’s service was established in 2001 and targets some of Edinburgh’s most vulnerable women. Dealing with issues such as homelessness, domestic violence, relationships, addictions, prostitution and mental health is part of our daily business. If you think you have something you could offer get in touch with us. It may be running a weekly or monthly activity or; Helping deliver outreach to women involved in the sex industry? Our outreach includes out of hours work so you would need to have time to offer in the evenings. Whether that be committing to an evening outreach shift once a month or more regularly. We have a comprehensive volunteer policy and would expect you to fully commit to our standards and code of conduct. We hope that this opportunity will benefit both yourself and the team here at Streetwork.

For more information contact Jacqueline Cowan on 0131 556 9759 or email to have an application pack sent out.
