There will be special deals for Santas on Sunday as traders in the Grassmarket join in the spectacular finale to the day's Santa Stroll.

The event will see walkers in Santa outfits set off from West Princes Street Gardens and stroll to the Grassmarket to raise funds for Radio Forth's Cash for Kids appeal and children's charity When You Wish Upon a Star.

They will arrive in the Grassmarket to celebrate with the All A Twinkle night, billed as the day's "spectacular finale".

Street performers will entertain the crowds and several traders are offering special discounts to shoppers in Santa suits on the night.

Deals include 'Santa eats free' at Mamma's American Pizza and The Beehive Inn, while Bill Baber Knitwear and Fabhatrix are offering 20 per cent off selected stock.

The events are part of the city's Santa Weekend. On Saturday, Santa's gardens, post box and igloo village will be opened in West Princes Street Gardens with performances from Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ringers and the Bonaly Primary School choir.
