Painting Edinburgh Green!

A weekend of events celebrating community action for a more sustainable Edinburgh.

Friday 2 October, 6pm at the Filmhouse, Lothian Road, Edinburgh EH3 9BZ:
‘In Transition' The brand new film about the Transition movement which is exploding round the world, showing how communities are coming together to make a better life for themselves and the planet. Tickets are £5/£3.50

Saturday 3 October, 11am to 4pm at the Drill Hall, Free Entry
A 'market place' where you can find out what community groups around Edinburgh are doing in the areas of food, transport and energy to make their communities happier, more vibrant, greener places to live. Stalls, children’s activities, cafe, local produce, clothes swap-o-rama/swish (bring clothes to swap!).

Sunday 4 October, 9.30 to 4.30 (includes lunch), Free Entry but booking required.
A networking conference on how to make Edinburgh truly sustainable. Listen to speakers, attend workshops and talk with other people from across the city who are working on a huge range of projects to raise quality of life while lowering impact on the planet.  

Painting Edinburgh Green! is being organised by Transition Edinburgh.
