Children have just one more day to enjoy storytelling sessions, craft workshops and visits from Santa at the Winter Wonderland in Princes Street Gardens.

Santa's Igloo Village, which runs until tomorrow, is a new attraction this year as part of Edinburgh's Christmas.

The igloos house a host of storytelling sessions and craft workshops where children can decorate their own Christmas ornaments.

Santa visits the Igloo Village daily at 1pm and then again at 4pm to collect his mail and feed the reindeer. Seasonal tales presented by some of Scotland's best-loved storytellers from The Scottish Storytelling Centre are held every 45 minutes.

Nickie Gott, Edinburgh's Christmas producer said:

"Christmas always brings cheer to the whole of Edinburgh and the activities are proving a hit with visitors both young and young at heart.

"It's great to get the children involved in the imagination workshops and craft sessions. It really captures their imaginations and it educates them on the true magic of Christmas.
