posted 5 Feb 2010, 13:42 by myEdinburgh Admin
Edinburgh & The Lothians Samaritans is holding a Ceilidh to raise funds for its local service.

Spin into Spring at the Samaritans Ceilidh. The evening will include music and dancing, as well as games and a raffle while dancers rest their feet in the interval! Prizes include signed books from Ian Rankin and Alexander McCall Smith.

Fun for all the family, no expertise is needed as the Ceilidh Caleerie caller will guide everyone through all the dances!

The Ceilidh takes place at St Bride’s Centre in Orwell Terrace, Edinburgh, on Friday 12 March and starts at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased from Sue Kennedy - email  or phone 0131 556 1440 for more details. Advance tickets can also be purchased from St. Bride’s Centre, by phone (0131 346 1405) or in person.

Edinburgh Samaritans provide confidential emotional support throughout the Lothians –  The Edinburgh branch is run entirely by over 140 trained volunteers and is dependent almost wholly on voluntary donations and fundraising events.

This event is supported by Choose Life and Debenhams.
