The wildly exuberant finale to the Edinburgh International Festival, the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert is an intoxicating and exciting mix of wonderful live music performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and a breathtaking choreographed fireworks display set against the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh's historic castle.

This year viewing areas are available at Inverleith Park, Calton Hill, Waverley Bridge and North Bridge. There will be no viewing areas on Princes Street.

This immensely popular event last year attracted an audience of over 250,000 people viewing from vantage points across the capital and is the biggest annual event of its kind in Europe.

You can find out more on the event by visiting the International Festival website.

You can find out about road closure during the event, city centre parking restrictions and parking restrictions at inverleith.
