£290,000 government cash injection for city voluntary groups

Voluntary groups in the Capital are set to benefit from a cash injection of almost £290,000, it was announced today.

Twenty-two city organisations will receive grants from the Scottish Government's Voluntary Sector Development Fund to help with staff training to improve the service they offer to clients. These include Alzheimer Scotland, Bield Housing Association, Margaret Blackwood Housing Association, L'Arche Edinburgh Support Service, Ark Housing Association, Deaf Action Support Service, the Bethany Christian Trust and the Rock Trust.
