May I take this opportunity to thank families from the area for supporting a child through the Glasgow Children’s Holiday Scheme, by being hosts for a week during the school summer holidays last year and to wish them all a Happy New Year.

8 Dec, 11.00am, Temperate Palm House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh.  Meeting at the Palm House, Holly and the Ivy will be a guided seasonal walk around the gardens, looking at plants that provide specific interest and colour at this festive time of year.  The tour costs £4 and includes entry into the glasshouses. Booking is advised.
