18 Mar, 7.30-9.00pm, St Bride's Centre, Dalry, Edinburgh.  Early Life Stress, Steroids and the 'Programming' of Body, Brain and Behaviour, a talk by Jonathan Seckl, will explore the effects of stress and stress hormones during pregnancy on the developing foetus.
The potential for long-term 'programming' of the offspring's risk of diseases will be explored in the context of events such as the Nazi Holocaust and the September 11th 2001 atrocity. Tickets cost £8, £6 for concessions.
